Ease of Use

VyprVPN is extremely easy to use. Even if you’re technologically challenged, you’ll find the interface clean, easy to understand, and even simpler to use. When you launch VyprVPN, you’ll be prompted to sign in; which only takes a few seconds to do.

Once you’re in, you’ll find a big blue button that says connect. All you have to do is click connect and you’re good to go. If you want to change your location you just click the location button, which is located right next to the connect button, and select the server and location of your choice.

Compared to other VPNs, which often try to make you feel like you’re in a command center, there are few services that offer a service as simple as VyprVPN.

VPN Location

With over 700 servers in over 50 countries, VyprVPN has one of the best location selections around. Switching between servers is as easy as clicking a button, and you don’t need a degree in computer science to figure it out.

It’s true that there are other VPNs out there with a higher number of server locations to choose from, but odds are you’re not looking to use your VPN to browse the Mongolian version of Netflix; so you should be fine.

Price

In the past, they provided a range of plans, but it could be complicated to find the perfect option. Now, you are offered two plans to choose from. You can consider the regular VyprVPN plan and VyprVPN Premier. Although there are just two plans, they cover all the bases. There is sure to be a plan that is right for your needs.

The VyprVPN plan can be used with three concurrent connections. However, the good thing is that the price is lower than the old plan, so that should please anyone looking for a great service at an affordable price. VyprVPN will cost $9.95 per month, or $60 per year. The previous service was $14.99 per month or $100 per year.

VyprVPN Premier Plan provides five concurrent connections. Once again, you will enjoy a lower price with the new version. This plan costs just $12.95 per month or $80 per year. The previous plan was $19.99 per month or $120 per year. This plan is a good choice for those who are power users and who are dealing with governments that tend to block VPNS, such as China. This plan includes Chameleon and VyprVPN Cloud.

Discounts and Offers

Keep in mind that with the reduced prices for the plans, it is no longer possible to receive the 40% discount from the annual plans. However, there is still a 25% discount on the annual plans!  Check out the two landing pages that currently have specials available – the Chinese New Year Special and the Seasonal Special (Winter Special). Make sure that the forms for the promotion match with the new pricing and the discount offers, and then choose the plan that works for you.

VyprVPN Cloud

This is a brand-new feature that is available for the non-business level accounts. While it was in beta, this was called the VyprVPN Server. It will allow users to create a highly secure and easy to use VPN server deployment solution. The service placed another layer of security for you when you are accessing public or private cloud servers. Privacy

VyprVPN is one of the few VPN services out there that offers end-to-end protection for your data and security. Their team writes their own software, manages their own networks, and owns the DNS and hardware that go into making the service possible.

What this means for you, is that you can rest assured that no third party, which may not have the scruples of the people running your VPN service, will have the ability to access your data or keep logs on your browsing activity.

Depending on your subscription you also get access to several security tools, such as NAT Firewall protection.

Speed

As with every other VPN on the market, using VyprVPN will slow down your internet speed.

But, unlike other services, it will be difficult to tell a difference in speed. You’ll still be able to stream and download movies, visit your favorite websites, etc… without any major slow downs. It’s not the fastest VPN on the market, despite what they may claim, but overall VyprVPN’s speed stands out among the vast majority of other VPNs.

Customer support

Behind the scenes, VyprVPN has a solid customer support system in place. For simple issues like installation, there are detailed guides to help get users set up. For more complex issues, there’s a troubleshooting section on VyprVPN’s site.

If you still can’t find a solution, you can live chat with a customer service representative. Obviously not all wait times are the same, but in general you shouldn’t be waiting too long before you’re paired with someone.
